Post-Deployment Steps
Update Package v2.3 to the Salesforce Instance
As per the SL License purchase, you will be able to see the iframe data.
Navigate to the Service App in Salesforce and verify the following:
1. Case Page Layout
- It should automatically load the iframe. If it does not load, follow these steps:
a. Go to the Case tab and click on Edit Page Layout.b. Select the Visualforce container and add it to the page layout.
c. Select SupportLogic_Case iframe and click Save.
2. Account Page Layout
- It should automatically load the iframe. If it does not load, follow these steps:
a. Go to the Account tab and click on Edit Page Layout.
b. Select the Visualforce container and add it to the page layout.
c. Select SupportLogic_Account iframe and click Save.
3. Agent Page Layout
- It should automatically load the iframe. If it does not load, follow these steps:
a. Go to the User tab and click on Edit Page Layout.
b. Select the Visualforce container and add it to the page layout.
c. Select SupportLogic_Agent iframe and click Save.
4. Custom Settings
Update the following fields under Custom Settings:
- iframe URL:
https://iframe.<customer>.supportlogic.io
(e.g., https://iframe.demo3.supportlogic.io) - SupportLogic URL:
https://<customer>.supportlogic.io
(e.g., https://demo3.supportlogic.io) - Instance URL:
https://<customerSFDC>.lightning.force.com
(e.g., https://supportlogic--demojw.sandbox.lightning.force.com)
5. Adding the SupportLogic Tab
To add the SupportLogic Tab, follow these steps:
a. Search for App Manager in the Quick Find box.
b. Go to Service (Classic) and click Edit.
c. Add the SupportLogic Tab as shown below.
6. Assigning Permission Sets
a. Assign the "SupportLogic Plug-in" permission set to the user who needs access to the iframe.
7. Custom Setting Configuration for Non-Admin Users
- If the Custom Setting is of "Hierarchy"type, and access is needed for profiles other than System Admin, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Setup > Custom Setting > SL Configuration Setting.
- Click on the New button.
- Fill in the details and assign it to the user/profile who requires access to view the data.
- Navigate to Setup > Custom Setting > SL Configuration Setting.
NOTE:
a. Here SupportLogic URL, iframe URL, instance URL are same as the one given for system Admin only the location needs to be set.
b. Location determines who all can view the content of the iframe.
