Assignments Page

Modified on Wed, 8 Oct at 6:26 AM

The Assignments page is where your team of auditors can access and manage all of your organisation's QA and Calibration assignments within SupportLogic.

As you can see from the image above, the page has recently gotten a makeover! For those of you that are new to Elevate, here's a look at what the page used to look like:

Keeping in line with the recent other UI revamps, we've changed the entire look of the page, while trying to keep the way the page functions almost the same - so there's almost no time required to be spent on learning how to use the page. That said, we've snuck in a few enhancements around filtering and searching for assignments that we think you'll love.

The page is now divided into two key tabs - My Assignments and All Assignments

  • As before, the My Assignments tab and table is available to those who have the 'Reviews' permission enabled. This is the place where users, auditors, will be able to keep a track of all assignments that they have to work on and complete themselves.
  • Similarly, the All Assignments tab and the table within, is available to all users that have the 'Manage Assignments' permission enabled. This is the place for these users, admins and leads, to track all the assignments in the org, ie for all auditors within the organisation.

Within the tables itself, there are two big changes that we've made - the QA Staff (auditors) and Agent (responder) filters that used to be on the page, and moved the filtering functionality into the column headers itself and we've added a whole new Search functionality within the Assignments page. Barring that, we've also done away with action icons for the All Assignments table and moved to terms that clearly spell out the action

Are you (also) tired of having to manually sift through pages and pages of assignments to look for the specific assignment for the specific agent or auditor that you're looking for? Well, we understand and this was one of the reasons behind the new full-length tables UI. But to make it even easier, we've included a search bar within the page that makes finding your assignment of choice instantaneous.

In the above image, searching for 'magic' provides us with all assignments that are related to the query based on the below parameters. The assignment search bar allows for a user to search by:

  1. Assignment name - All assignments with the same name will be listed. For now, this is an exact match only and no phrases or words in between the name can be queried.
  2. Auditor name - All assignments with an auditor with the same name will be listed
  3. Agent/responder name - All assignments with an agent with the same name will be listed.

We're soon going to be adding in a few more filters to make this page much easier to navigate.
